The LMS Administrator is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System, ensuring its effective operation in delivering training programs. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement learning solutions, evaluating training impacts, and managing the overall learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • LMS Administration:

    • Serve as the LMS Super User and in-house expert.
    • Stay updated on LMS features and updates, recommending enhancements as needed.
    • Manage implementation and upkeep of training curriculum for various user groups.
  • Content Management:

    • Create and manage eLearning courses, learning paths, and user permissions.
    • Prepare and upload course content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
    • Review, create, and improve training materials and assessments.
  • Reporting and Records:

    • Maintain accurate training records; generate reports on learner progress, course completion, and system usage.
    • Manage training records within the LMS and HRIS systems.
    • Prepare summary assessments to identify learning gaps and process inefficiencies.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving:

    • Collaborate with managers and leadership to develop new learning opportunities.
    • Investigate and resolve training system concerns in a timely manner.
    • Adapt training methods and materials to meet diverse learning styles.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Associate’s degree or equivalent education plus relevant work experience.
  • Experience:

    • 1+ years of experience with Learning Management Systems.
    • Previous experience in implementing and maintaining LMS is required.
    • Experience in instructional design is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong technical acumen and understanding of teaching methods and approaches.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage shifting priorities.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
    • Fluency in English.
