About the role

Managing⠀and⠀maintaining⠀the Firm's⠀finance⠀systems on⠀a day to⠀day⠀basis
Reviewing⠀system⠀performance⠀and⠀identifying⠀issues
Reviewing⠀and⠀maintaining⠀all⠀finance⠀systems⠀policies⠀and⠀procedures
Troubleshooting⠀and fixing⠀finance-related⠀system⠀issues
Training⠀and⠀supporting⠀colleagues⠀in the use⠀of finance⠀systems⠀and⠀procedures
Supporting⠀audit and⠀statutory⠀accounts⠀preparation
Managing⠀system⠀upgrades⠀with the⠀Finance⠀and⠀Information⠀Services⠀department
Preparing⠀presentations⠀for⠀various⠀reporting⠀periods
Working⠀with⠀business⠀intelligence⠀software
Collaborating⠀with the⠀financial⠀control⠀team on⠀month end⠀/ year end⠀closing⠀and⠀balancing

About you

Broad⠀knowledge⠀of⠀accounting⠀systems
Experience⠀working in⠀project⠀and BAU⠀environments,⠀ideally⠀within a⠀professional⠀services⠀business
Experience⠀in⠀communicating⠀and⠀influencing⠀stakeholders
Comprehensive⠀Excel or⠀BI⠀reporting⠀skills
Working⠀knowledge⠀of⠀financial⠀reporting⠀systems⠀and their⠀applications
Ability⠀to⠀collaborate⠀and train⠀colleagues
Team⠀player⠀with⠀ability to⠀develop⠀effective⠀working⠀relationships
Assured⠀and⠀effective⠀communicator,⠀able to⠀work⠀effectively⠀at all⠀levels⠀within an⠀organisation
Able⠀to⠀demonstrate⠀high⠀levels of⠀initiative⠀and⠀decision⠀making⠀capability⠀and to be⠀comfortable⠀working⠀within a⠀results⠀driven⠀environment⠀with⠀accuracy⠀and⠀focus
