The L’Oréal USA Graduate Accounting Internship offers a comprehensive, 12-month experience where interns become fully integrated into the team while leading their own strategic projects. This internship provides an opportunity to develop a career with the #1 Beauty Tech company in the world, with full-time responsibilities, exposure to senior management, and a path to future leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Tasks:

    • Prepare, summarize, and analyze accounting information for various subjects and provide support with monthly reporting.
    • Analyze and validate accounting information for monthly consolidated reporting to worldwide headquarters.
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects, including account analysis, process improvement, and systems enhancement.
  • Project Management:

    • Assist with the implementation of various accounting projects.
    • Attend project management meetings and summarize discussions for the Head of Accounting.
  • Team Support:

    • Provide support to the accounting team and contribute to other assigned projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Recent graduate (within the past 12 months) from an Undergraduate program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Academic Performance:

    • Strong academic background with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Skills:

    • Superior problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong verbal communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated analytical skills using tools like Excel, PowerBI, etc.
  • Authorization:

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship.

Skill Sets:

  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel; experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and form strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience with tools like PowerBI and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
