ADSM is⠀looking⠀for an IT⠀Support⠀Assistant⠀to provide⠀technical⠀support,⠀which⠀helps⠀increase⠀the⠀effectiveness⠀and⠀efficiency⠀of the IT⠀Unit.

IT⠀Support⠀Assistant⠀must also⠀provide⠀general⠀support⠀for the IT⠀Unit and⠀for the⠀company's⠀computer⠀users.⠀Installing⠀and⠀maintaining⠀various⠀peripherals,⠀as well as⠀installing⠀relevant⠀updates⠀and⠀patches.

Responsibilities

  • Install⠀and⠀configure⠀computer⠀hardware⠀operating⠀systems⠀and⠀applications
  • Monitor⠀and⠀maintain⠀computer⠀systems⠀and⠀networks
  • Provide⠀support to⠀students,⠀Faculty⠀and⠀staff
  • Troubleshoot⠀system and⠀network⠀problems,⠀diagnosing⠀and⠀solving⠀hardware⠀or⠀software⠀faults
  • Support⠀existing⠀applications⠀and the⠀roll-out⠀of new⠀applications
  • Test⠀and⠀evaluate⠀new⠀technology
  • Comply⠀with ADSM⠀policies⠀and⠀procedures

Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware ,software and network
  • Strong communications skills
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours
  • Enthusiasm for continual learning
  • IT Related academic degree
  • Experience : 2 years
