Clean Energy Administration Fellowship

The  Fellowship offers an opportunity for recent graduates and early career professionals to gain targeted training and practical experience in program administration and management. Fellows will support the implementation of clean energy initiatives, contributing to Illinois’ transition to a sustainable energy future.

Key Responsibilities

• Administrative Support:

  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and stakeholder communication.
  • Perform data entry and document preparation.

• Project Support:

  • Track and update key program metrics.
  • Assist in program management and implementation.

• Program Management:

  • Provide correspondence and logistical support.
  • Engage with specialized teams to facilitate clean energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution in a relevant field such as public policy, environmental studies, project management, or related areas.
  • Coursework or interest in renewable energy, environmental policy, or project management is preferred.

• Experience:

  • 0–3 years of professional experience in program administration or a related role.

• Skills:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable adapting to shifting deadlines and workflows.
