Morgan Stanley is hiring for an Investment Analyst at Parametric, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management. This role offers a hybrid work model, with 2-3 days in the office and the rest remotely.

About the Role:

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    • Generate data sets and materials for managing investment strategies.
    • Provide analysis and responses for clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Use proprietary software to construct equity index portfolios for prospective clients.
    • Contribute to efficiency improvements and client service enhancements.
    • Develop knowledge of Parametric products.
    • Potentially pursue a graduate degree or CFA.
    • Other responsibilities as needed.
  • Training Program:

    • A three-year Investment Analyst Program with comprehensive training, interactive instructions, and peer learning.
    • Opportunity to explore various career paths within the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Problem-solving skills using logic and creativity.
    • Enthusiasm for learning quantitative investment management techniques.
    • Strong analytical writing and research capabilities.
    • High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
    • Initiative and teamwork skills.
    • Communication and organizational skills.
    • Familiarity or willingness to learn Excel, coding languages, and other analytical tools.
    • Preference for Seattle office location initially, with potential relocation options.
  • Desired:

    • Demonstrated interest in investment management and markets.
    • Experience or coursework in quantitative analysis.
