The Innovation Lab Associate will support Endeavor Health’s mission of advancing healthcare innovations. The role entails collaboration with clinicians and industry partners to integrate innovative solutions, conducting research, managing projects, and engaging with the community to promote healthcare advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaboration:

    • Partner with clinicians and industry professionals to address clinical needs and develop innovative solutions.
    • Conduct meetings, perform independent research, and participate in brainstorming sessions.
  2. Research & Development:

    • Perform literature reviews and design experiments related to surgical simulation, 3D modeling, and other healthcare innovation projects.
    • Analyze data and contribute to ongoing research efforts.
  3. Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain detailed project documentation.
    • Assist in preparing research papers for publication and conference presentations.
  4. Community Engagement:

    • Participate in outreach initiatives to promote Endeavor Health's innovation programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
  • Junior/Senior undergraduates or graduate students in fields such as biomedical engineering or healthcare innovation are encouraged to apply.

Experience:

  • College students with a strong interest in healthcare innovation.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with 3D modeling tools like Tinkercad is a plus.
  • Experience with 3D printing technologies (e.g., FDM, SLA, SLS) and tools like SolidWorks and GrabCAD is preferred.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and collaborative work ethic.

Working Conditions:

  • Use of standard office equipment (personal computer, copier, etc.).
  • Involvement with various 3D printing technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
