Industry Technical Consultant GHT

As an Industry Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in the Data Center Division, supporting Liquid Cooling Applications and other cooling systems, including closed-loop and direct-to-chip applications. This position involves implementing new technologies, supporting technical sales teams, and advising customers on the best cooling solutions for their needs. You will also contribute to business growth by identifying market opportunities, developing new product applications, and supporting training and technical sales calls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Support and Technical Sales: Assist sales representatives in technical presentations and industry-specific sales calls related to liquid cooling, cooling water systems, and other applications in the Data Center industry.
• Research and Market Identification: Research, identify, and define market opportunities for liquid cooling and related technologies in specific industries or customer groups.
• Technology Implementation: Support the implementation of new technologies and help transition new business into operational solutions.
• Customer Audits and Troubleshooting: Conduct on-site audits to assess customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.
• Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training for sales teams and develop training materials for field sales.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work with marketing and sales stakeholders to develop new products, programs, and appropriate training for successful implementation in the field.
• Component-Level Solutions: Develop and recommend solutions for liquid cooling applications, such as cold plate cooling and immersion cooling technologies, to improve performance.
• Travel Requirements: 50% or more overnight travel is required to meet customers and attend industry events.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, such as Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial, or Life Sciences like Biology or Chemistry).
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of successful experience in technical implementation, production management, process engineering, or field sales support.
• Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of liquid cooling systems and related technologies.
• Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel extensively (50% or more overnight travel required).
• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record are required.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop and recommend innovative solutions.
