The⠀Human⠀Resources⠀Site⠀manager⠀works⠀closely⠀with the⠀site⠀leadership⠀team to⠀achieve⠀short and⠀long term⠀goals. The⠀HR Site⠀manager⠀assists in⠀the⠀development⠀and leads⠀the⠀deployment⠀of HR⠀processes,⠀policies,⠀and⠀practices⠀that drive⠀continuous⠀improvement⠀and⠀business⠀performance⠀metrics⠀that align⠀with the⠀goals of⠀the⠀business.

This⠀leader⠀creates⠀strategic⠀business⠀partnerships,⠀provides⠀HR support⠀services⠀to⠀employees⠀in the⠀areas of⠀employee⠀relations,⠀labor⠀relations,⠀compensation,⠀benefits,⠀and⠀payroll.⠀This role⠀supports⠀assigned⠀businesses⠀and/or⠀functions,⠀and/or⠀locations⠀as a⠀subject⠀matter⠀expert⠀with labor⠀& employee⠀relations,⠀recruiting,⠀benefit⠀administration,⠀compensation⠀planning,⠀HRIS⠀guidance,⠀and HR⠀related⠀special⠀projects.

This⠀is an⠀onsite⠀role based⠀out of⠀Kalama, WA⠀with⠀minimal⠀travel⠀requirements.

Primary⠀Duties &⠀Responsibilities:

Counsel⠀and advise⠀supervisors⠀and⠀managers⠀in support⠀of their⠀businesses⠀and⠀functions⠀on all⠀matters⠀HR,⠀including:⠀Talent/Performance⠀Management,⠀Labor/Employee⠀Relations,⠀and⠀regarding⠀company⠀policies⠀and⠀procedures,⠀and all⠀aspects of⠀employment⠀law.⠀Participate⠀in⠀investigation⠀of⠀labor/employee⠀relation⠀issues and⠀provide⠀recommendations⠀for⠀resolution.⠀Serve as⠀the first⠀point of⠀contact⠀for labor⠀relations⠀to manage⠀grievances⠀and the⠀collective⠀bargaining⠀agreement.

  • Proactively identify and solve for training and development needs. Lead and facilitate the Coated Products North America business' learning journey for your respective businesses and functions in coordination with Talent Management plans and initiatives.
  • Participate on projects teams as assigned that have an impact on the entire Coated Products North America business
  • Support recruiting and staffing activities, including diversity and affirmative action efforts
  • Facilitate pre-employment assessment, new employee onboarding, separation process, benefit open enrollment, and other employee related activities
  • Provide Human Resources support services to employees in the areas of benefits, policies, and payroll
  • Maintain data in HRIS system and personnel records
  • Administer workers’ compensation claim management
  • Administer attendance program and leave management, to include attendance tracking system, FMLA, Salary Continuance, and STD/LTD


Qualifications


Minimum:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 6-10 years of Human Resources experience
  • Labor relations experience
  • Knowledge and application of employment laws
  • Knowledge and application of benefit plans
  • Knowledge and application of training and development
  • Knowledge and application of employee relation issues

Preferred:

  • Masters degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR)
  • Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting employee groups at multiple sites/locations

Additional Information


Location: Washington

Pay Range: $95,701 - $143,551/Annually
