As the Manager of Human Resources, you will partner with business leaders to develop, implement, and manage data-driven people programs that enhance the employee experience throughout their talent journey. This role will focus on talent development, performance management, and driving Team Member growth and retention while ensuring the achievement of business goals. You will be responsible for managing employee relations, policy guidance, and supporting HR initiatives that foster a positive work environment and reinforce our culture.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Process Improvement:
- Partner with stakeholders to develop processes that improve efficiencies across the Team Member journey.
- Collaborate with management to create an associate experience that supports success and positions Ideal Image as an employer of choice.
Talent Development & Performance Management:
- Support management with performance management guidance, coaching, and feedback to foster Team Member growth and retention.
- Work with business leaders to implement development plans in collaboration with Learning & Development (L&D).
Employee Relations:
- Manage all employee relations issues for assigned internal client groups, providing coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct workplace investigations and manage the corrective action process in collaboration with leadership.
- Manage the offboarding process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Compliance & Legal Support:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain policies and practices in compliance, seeking legal input when necessary.
HR Programs & Project Management:
- Implement and manage HR programs, projects, and initiatives that support organizational effectiveness and company culture.
- Oversee HR technology systems and ensure they are used efficiently to manage Team Member information and employee relations inquiries.
Communication & Culture Building:
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and Team Members through proactive communication and feedback collection.
- Support change management efforts and emphasize company culture through clear communication tools and resources.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant HR management or People Operations support experience, ideally within a multi-unit or matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to resolve complex, high-volume employee relations issues.
Skills & Abilities:
- High proficiency with human capital technology systems and HR best practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Creative problem-solver who is data-driven and solutions-oriented.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive projects to completion.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
