The Manager of Human Resources will work closely with business leaders to develop, implement, and manage people programs that enhance the overall employee experience. This role will focus on creating a positive environment that fosters Team Member growth, retention, and the achievement of business goals. You’ll be responsible for supporting leaders with talent development, performance management, and employee relations to ensure a productive and thriving workplace.
Responsibilities:
Employee Experience & Talent Development:
- Partner with key stakeholders to create humanized and efficient processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Support management on developing people processes that build a culture of success and make Ideal Image an employer of choice.
- Assist business leaders in developing Team Members through training and performance management.
Employee Relations:
- Handle all employee relations issues within assigned groups, including coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct workplace investigations and manage the corrective action process, ensuring legal compliance.
- Provide support for Team Member inquiries and ensure effective communication across teams.
Compliance & Policy Management:
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure policies and practices align with company standards and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure policies are up to date and compliant.
Project & Program Management:
- Manage HR programs, projects, and initiatives that align with business needs.
- Leverage human capital technology systems to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Communicate tools, resources, and best practices that reinforce the company culture and drive change management.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and team members to foster positive communication and proactive connections.
- Collect feedback to improve the work environment and ensure a high level of employee engagement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a combination of relevant work experience and education.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR or People Operations experience, preferably in a multi-unit environment or related industry with a matrixed organization.
Skills:
- Proficiency with HR technology systems and strong knowledge of HR best practices.
- Experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Strong customer service focus and the ability to manage sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and project management skills.
- Creative problem solver with a data-driven, solutions-oriented approach.
- High organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, can-do attitude and excellent follow-up skills.
