Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and maintain key HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, compliance administration, HRIS management, and employee relations. This role will also assist in critical functions such as payroll, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. As part of the HR team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Functions:

  • HR Policy & Compliance:

    • Ensure consistent application of company personnel policies and adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee preparation and submission of all required federal, state, and regulatory reports.
  • HR Administration & Supervision:

    • Manage human resources administration, including staff recruitment, training, and supervision.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide corrective action recommendations as necessary.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the sourcing and onboarding of qualified candidates.
    • Train new hires and ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a key resource for employee relations, helping to resolve workplace issues and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • HRIS Management & Payroll Support:

    • Administer HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
    • Provide backup support for payroll administration and benefits management.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Extensive knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, payroll, staffing, and HRIS compliance standards.
  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in HR generalist, payroll administration, or HR management roles.
    • Supervisory experience with a focus on employee training and development.
  • Education:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of business and organizational planning, resource allocation, strategic planning, and customer service.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, for safety and productivity reasons.
