The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the organization's HRIS and other HR platforms to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role combines technical expertise with HR knowledge to support data management, system administration, process improvement, and user training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Ensure HR data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations. Support the HR team in creating and reviewing reports and audits to maintain accurate data across systems.
- User Support and Training: Provide technical support to HR team members and other stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training to ensure optimal system use.
- Process Documentation and Improvement: Assist in maintaining system documentation, guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and collaborate to identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
- System Administration and Review: Help HRIS administrators with system configuration, user management, and maintenance. Support HR system reviews and assist with gathering feedback from stakeholders.
Education and experience requirements:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2+ years in Human Resources, with at least 1 year of HRIS or related system experience preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build professional relationships.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to confidentiality and protected information.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with data management, data entry, validation, and auditing.
- Knowledge of project management software, VB, or SQL is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate clearly via email and phone.
- Frequent use of keyboarding.
