The HR Coordinator will report to the Senior Regional Manager of HR and will be responsible for processing new hire paperwork, updating and maintaining electronic employee records, and ensuring compliance with I-9 regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new hires and employee status changes accurately and in a timely manner in the HRIS system.
  • Work with management to obtain missing or incomplete paperwork.
  • Address employee inquiries related to hiring status.
  • Collaborate with the payroll department to resolve pay discrepancies.
  • Handle email correspondence as needed.
  • Complete the online I-9 process for new hires at the Support Center.
  • Maintain and update a data entry handbook for HR processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, including new hire paperwork, change requests, compensation policy approval rules, and minimum wage adjustments.
  • Keep management informed of HR activities and any significant issues.
  • Assist with periodic file audits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Prior experience using an HRIS system (Ultipro experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices, terminology, and procedures.
  • Understanding of State and Federal laws related to HR administration.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and explain HR-related rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Proven ability to compile data for reports or correspondence.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
