The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources Department by facilitating pre-onboarding and onboarding processes for various employee groups, including Civil Service, Graduate Hourly, and Academic Professional employees. This position collaborates with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process and works towards improving data accuracy and overall procedural outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, evaluate, and implement an effective pre-onboarding process to create a positive candidate experience.
- Work with HRBPs, Hiring Managers, and Employee Engagement to ensure seamless transitions from job offer acceptance through onboarding.
- Handle the pre-employment process for new hires, including scheduling clearances, assessments, and completing necessary paperwork such as I-9 forms and ID authorization.
- Manage new hire transactions, including entering data into the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensuring proper documentation in hiring folders.
- Conduct candidate experience surveys, analyze feedback, and implement improvements.
- Assist with recruitment events such as job fairs and open houses.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, aligning with UI Health’s mission and values.
- Prepare reports on new hire metrics, including source-of-hire, time-to-hire, and time-to-fill.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
- Enter employee certifications and employment data into relevant systems.
- Participate in other special projects and perform additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A combination of education and experience totaling three (3) years, including:
- Coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields (for example, 30 semester hours equals one year of experience).
- Work experience involving maintaining, monitoring, or processing HR records and reports.
