We are seeking an HR Data Coordinator to join our vibrant Human Resources (HR) team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all employee data, from hire dates and titles to pay rates and benefits elections. As a data-driven and proactive team member, you will support the HR team and the broader business by providing insightful analysis and metrics to influence decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the accuracy of employee data in the HRIS (ADP), including new hires, employee changes, leaves, and separations.
- Conduct internal audits on employee data, including titles, supervisors, and emergency contacts.
- Monitor HR databases for data quality assurance and integrity.
- Reinforce best practices in internal processes and analytics.
- Produce government or regulatory reports, such as EEO-1 and Social Security validations, and stay current on reporting regulations.
- Assist with HR reporting and respond to ad hoc data requests.
- Ensure all processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are updated and followed.
- Support key HR functions, including onboarding, leave of absence management, employee data maintenance, and benefits administration.
- Collaborate with HR team members to monitor, respond to, and escalate inquiries from the HR inbox.
- Stay updated on HR trends by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and engaging in professional networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in HR with a focus on data management.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP or similar) and reporting software.
- Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., using functions like AVERAGE, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Experience altering variables in queries to generate custom reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and drive them to completion.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, especially with sensitive information.
