As the leader in product content management, 1WorldSync operates globally with approximately 600 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK. We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to support our expanding team worldwide.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the HR Coordinator will be integral to maintaining a satisfying and supportive work environment. This role involves engaging with employees to address their questions and assisting with administrative tasks tied to benefits, compliance, and professional development. A proactive approach to meeting employee needs is essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the HR email inbox by responding to employee inquiries on topics like benefits, payroll deductions, and time off, ensuring efficient issue resolution with a high level of satisfaction.
  • Support the recruiting process, including opening job requisitions, conducting phone screenings, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist in job postings and advertising on various job boards.
  • Contribute to annual reporting and audits with accurate data and timely submissions.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
  • Manage compliance training software, track employee completion, and prepare audit reports as needed.
  • Assist in preparing a global quarterly HR wellness newsletter and contribute to a company-wide newsletter each quarter.
  • Keep the employee intranet up-to-date with current resources.
  • Facilitate and track policy signatures.
  • Proactively seek ways to improve the efficiency and value of benefits programs and HR offerings.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director and Chief HR Officer as needed.
  • Support other HR projects and act as backup for facilities support at the Chicago headquarters.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in customer service or support, with strong communication skills for internal and external communications.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and basic Excel functions (e.g., charts, pivot tables).
  • A strong interest in expanding HR knowledge.

  • Full-time, hourly position ($24.04–$25.50 per hour, based on experience) with a 5% target annual bonus.
