As a Leasing Consultant with Hines, you will play a key role in driving marketing, advertising, and sales activities for multifamily properties. Your goal is to maximize resident satisfaction, ensure successful lease renewals, and help meet the property’s revenue and occupancy targets. This role involves a range of duties including property tours, lease processing, and marketing strategy development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect apartments before occupancy to ensure they are in excellent condition for move-in.
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents and visitors.
- Process necessary documentation such as credit screenings, criminal background checks, leases, move-in packages, and lease signings.
- Develop and execute marketing plans to sustain occupancy and stay current with market trends.
- Utilize promotional items and technology to engage prospects and generate revenue.
- Assist the Leasing Manager with the lease renewal process and communicate with residents effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and current residents to ensure satisfaction and secure lease agreements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Prior customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Entrata is a plus.
- Lease-up experience is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical property inspections, including navigating stairs or restricted spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Must be available for emergency situations, on-call duties, and potential overtime as needed.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
