This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining software applications on office workstations. You will address and escalate issues related to workstations, internet connectivity, streaming services, and hardware. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues quickly during gameday operations to ensure smooth data collection and operational efficiency. The role also includes auditing inventory, applying software updates according to company policies, and documenting technical support efforts to ensure a secure and stable computing environment. You will collaborate with other teams on technology-related tasks and assist with special projects to improve the organization’s technology infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Required:
Experience with endpoint management providers like ESET is essential. The ideal candidate must have strong multitasking, decision-making, and communication skills. Proficiency with productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Monday is required. Reliable transportation to the downtown Chicago office is necessary. The role demands adaptability to dynamic environments and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.

Preferred:
A background in computer science or related fields is preferred, along with expertise in configuring and testing workstations in startup environments. Knowledge of networking, Office 365, Lenovo, Dell, VoIP platforms like 3CX, and scheduling software would be an advantage. Familiarity with system performance monitoring tools and enterprise backup solutions is also beneficial.
