As a Senior Associate in the Functional and Industry Technologies services, you will work as part of a team helping clients to solve complex business problems using technology. Your focus will be on strategy execution, managing technical projects, and enhancing systems configurations, particularly within the insurance industry. The role involves collaborating with clients, managing project teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital solutions, often in areas like Guidewire implementation, object-oriented programming, and integration of various software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem Solving & Project Execution: Support clients with complex business and technology issues, leveraging industry tools and technical expertise.
- Leadership & Team Management: Mentor junior associates, providing feedback and stretch opportunities. Manage teams and workstreams, helping clients navigate digital transformation projects.
- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Technical Expertise: Focus on Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), REST and SOAP API integrations, GOSU programming, and systems configurations.
- Collaboration with Business Development: Work with business development teams to create proposals, presenting technical solutions to senior clients and executives.
- Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to knowledge capital, staying informed on industry trends, and offering thought leadership.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Guidewire and Scrum Master certifications are preferred.
- Technical Knowledge/Skills:
- Guidewire Products: Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and related products.
- Programming: Knowledge of object-oriented programming, GOSU, and other relevant technologies.
- API Integration: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Guidewire Integration Framework.
- Development Tools: Familiarity with Git, Bit Bucket, TeamCity, Data Dog, and similar tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the insurance industry and systems configurations is a plus.
