Job DescriptionAs a Grant⠀Writer,⠀you will⠀serve as⠀an⠀administrator⠀for our⠀research⠀and⠀program⠀grants and⠀help⠀coordinate⠀activities⠀of various⠀studies.⠀Other⠀primary⠀duties⠀include:
•⠀Prepare⠀reports⠀and⠀correspondences⠀for⠀investigators⠀proposals,⠀progress⠀reports,⠀and⠀manuscript⠀preparation.⠀Research⠀and⠀compile⠀data for⠀high-level⠀reports.
•⠀Review the⠀sponsor⠀guidelines⠀and make⠀recommendations⠀to make⠀sure the⠀funding⠀requirements⠀are met in⠀the grant⠀proposal.
•⠀Coordinate⠀and carry⠀out⠀procedures⠀designed⠀to⠀increase⠀efficiency⠀and⠀quality of⠀proposals,⠀including⠀innovative⠀ways to⠀streamline⠀the grant⠀production⠀process.
•⠀Develop⠀curriculum⠀and the⠀curriculum-rating⠀survey,⠀detailed⠀feedback⠀on⠀seminars⠀and make⠀recommendations⠀for⠀preliminary⠀overview⠀and⠀changes.
•⠀Contribute⠀to and⠀inform on⠀strategic⠀program/entity⠀planning⠀and⠀related⠀funding⠀and⠀financial⠀sustainability.⠀Salary⠀Range:⠀$61,400.00⠀-⠀$121,400.00/year
•⠀Experience⠀and skill⠀with⠀writing⠀and⠀editing⠀for⠀research,⠀including⠀grant⠀applications,⠀IRB⠀applications,⠀and⠀manuscripts⠀for peer⠀reviewed⠀publications.
•⠀Understanding⠀of the⠀grant⠀submission⠀process⠀(e.g.⠀federal⠀grants/NIH⠀grants).
•⠀Demonstrated⠀expertise⠀in⠀teaching⠀grant⠀writing,⠀academic⠀writing,⠀or⠀research⠀methods to⠀graduate⠀students,⠀clinical⠀fellows,⠀postdocs.
•⠀Excellent⠀management⠀skills to⠀maintain⠀and⠀organize⠀multiple⠀grant⠀projects⠀including⠀program⠀grants.
•⠀Strong⠀proficiency⠀in⠀operating⠀computer⠀including⠀Microsoft⠀Office⠀(Word,⠀Excel,⠀PowerPoint,⠀and⠀Outlook⠀email) and⠀EndNote.⠀•
Received⠀higher⠀education⠀in⠀research⠀related⠀field or⠀equivalent⠀work⠀experience.
