The Graduate Marketing & Art Direction Trainee will support the client service team by assisting with market audits, competitor and trend analysis related to packaging design, and ensuring that photography for new packaging designs aligns with client expectations. This role offers a mix of marketing and creative responsibilities, working closely with the Account Management & Creative Team to help deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Market Audits & Trend Analysis:
- Conduct instore and online market audits by product category for new pack designs.
- Create trend analysis reports on packaging designs, including recommendations and presentations on design direction.
Photography Art Direction:
- Assist with planning and attending photography shoots for new packaging designs.
- Ensure product shots align with the client’s approved brief and meet delivery schedules.
- Support photography teams by suggesting solutions to issues during photoshoots, ensuring they stay on schedule.
- After training, approve photoshoots on set, escalating any issues to the supervisor when necessary.
Planning & Problem-Solving:
- Plan photo shoots, store visits, and market audits in line with redesign schedules.
- Address and resolve issues that may arise during photoshoots, such as discrepancies between the client brief and actual deliverables.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in design or marketing.
Portfolio:
- A strong design portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
