Job Title: Graduate Marketing & Art Direction Trainee
Location: Remote, preference for Chicago area
Travel Requirements: Approximately 25%, including international travel to the UK

Position Summary:

The Graduate Marketing and Art Direction Trainee will play a key role in supporting the client service team to deliver outstanding customer experiences, contributing to sustainable and lasting client and supplier relationships. This role also supports the Account Management and Creative Team by conducting market audits, analyzing competitor trends in packaging design, and managing the art direction of photography for new packaging designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-store and online market audits by product category to inform new packaging designs.
  • Prepare trend analyses on packaging design, including recommendations for design directions based on current trends.
  • Attend and manage photography shoots, ensuring alignment with the client's approved brief, timelines, and delivery schedules.
  • Plan and organize photo shoots, store visits, and time for trend analyses to meet design project timelines.
  • Problem-solve on-site at photo shoots, addressing challenges like matching the client brief or delays in image delivery.
  • After training, assume the authority to approve photo shoots on set, with escalation to the account management team if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in design or marketing
  • Portfolio showcasing design skills
