Role Overview

Wilson is currently seeking a Golf Club Assembly Technician to join our team during the busy season. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within our Custom Golf business unit, where you will be assembling and repairing golf clubs based on customer specifications. The role is a 3-6 month project, ideal for those looking to gain hands-on experience with a global brand in the sporting goods industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Golf Club Assembly:
    • Assemble golf clubs to precise specifications, including tasks like component picking, shaft trimming, epoxying, loft and lie bending, gripping, and cleaning.
    • Ensure golf clubs are completed efficiently while meeting quality standards.
  • Organization & Efficiency:
    • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
    • Ensure the completion of tasks within set timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Team Support:
    • Collaborate with the Custom Golf team to meet departmental and organizational goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
    • Ability to use basic math, rulers, and other measurement devices.
  • Desired Skills & Experience:
    • Detail-oriented with an aptitude for precision and quality.
    • Team-oriented with a strong focus on meeting targets and timelines.
    • Previous clubmaking experience is preferred, but not required.
