The Sr. Advisor, Compliance position at TransUnion offers a key leadership role overseeing the Global Ethics Helpline (GEH) and Conflict of Interest (COI) programs. This role provides operational and programmatic oversight, ensuring that the company effectively manages key risks and complies with relevant domestic and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Ethics Helpline (GEH) Program:
- Lead the strategic direction and maintenance of the GEH, including ownership of the Whistleblower Policy.
- Ensure adherence to domestic and international laws and regulations.
- Develop and document processes, procedures, and key metrics (KPIs/KRIs) for the GEH program.
- Manage incident triage and assignment, overseeing the whistleblower hotline and website.
- Develop and update training and outreach programs to educate employees on the whistleblower hotline.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships to enhance the program.
Conflict of Interest (COI) Program:
- Establish governance for COI reviews, approvals, escalation, documentation, and reporting.
- Define escalation processes, approval authorities, and criteria for COI decision-making.
- Create a centralized repository for COI disclosures and decision outcomes.
- Continuously review and enhance COI policies and ensure employees are aware of policy updates.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience managing a global whistleblower hotline and conflict of interest program.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SEC and DOJ regulations and enforcement policies.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively across functions, levels, and geographies.
- Leadership: Ability to lead program development, drive strategic initiatives, and inspire trust and confidence in both internal and external stakeholders.
- International Experience: Experience interacting with global employee populations and regulatory agencies is preferred.
