The Global Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing Gradiant’s global marketing strategy. This position will involve developing integrated lead and demand generation marketing campaigns and creating sales collateral, including case studies, presentations, and brochures. Reporting to Gradiant’s Global Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will influence how Gradiant is communicated, perceived, understood, and experienced in the market.
Brand Positioning & Messaging:
Manage the global positioning and messaging of Gradiant’s brand and portfolio, ensuring that technical capabilities are translated into meaningful customer benefits across all content and channels, including websites, literature, webinars, and sales materials.
Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
Develop and drive integrated lead and demand generation marketing campaigns across various platforms, including corporate websites, email, blogs, social media, and webinars, to reinforce brand positioning and drive growth.
Sales & Marketing Collateral Development:
Create and manage sales and marketing collateral, corporate website content, and investor presentations to support brand initiatives.
Competitive Intelligence:
Maintain competitive intelligence and benchmarking for the business, providing market feedback and insights to sales, engineering, and R&D teams to identify gaps and opportunities.
Product Launch Management:
Lead the launch of new products and offerings across all communication channels, collaborating closely with technical and sales teams.
Event Management:
Identify and prioritize high-value tradeshows, field events, and customer training opportunities, determining optimal participation levels to maximize sales impact and ROI.
Proposal Development:
Partner with sales and technical teams to create compelling, winning proposals for new clients and projects.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct research and analysis to address unstructured business problems related to technologies, geographic expansion, partnerships, pricing scenarios, and industry shifts.
Capability Gap Identification:
Identify key capability and portfolio gaps through in-depth analysis, aligning internal teams on strategies and tactics for new services and products.
Business Case Development:
Develop business cases to evaluate growth opportunities, including potential new applications for existing technologies and new technology development or acquisition.
Public Advocacy & Thought Leadership:
Partner with industry leaders, customers, and the media to advocate for sustainability and advanced water and wastewater solutions, positioning Gradiant as a thought leader and subject matter expert.
Experience:
10 to 15 years of marketing experience in a global, cross-matrixed business, preferably within the solutions-focused industrial water market.
Education:
Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or an MBA is preferred.
Market Knowledge:
Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment, digital solutions, and sustainability practices.
B2B Experience:
Proven experience in B2B and B2B2C end-user markets.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
Project Management:
Highly organized and dependable with strong project management skills; motivated and results-driven.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to pay attention to detail while also seeing the big picture.
Global Perspective:
Experience working in a multicultural, global organization with the ability to manage regional differences effectively.
Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
