Job⠀Overview:

The⠀Financial⠀Analyst⠀will be⠀directly⠀responsible⠀for⠀forecasting,⠀planning,⠀budgeting⠀and⠀managing⠀expense⠀processes⠀for⠀specific⠀central⠀support⠀areas. The⠀Financial⠀Analyst⠀will be⠀the⠀primary⠀point of⠀contact⠀for⠀warehouse⠀supply⠀chain⠀expense⠀and⠀revenue⠀generation,⠀vendor⠀sourcing,⠀central⠀travel.⠀They will⠀liaise⠀with⠀corporate⠀internal⠀audit⠀following⠀their⠀engagements⠀to insure⠀improved⠀processes⠀are⠀identified⠀and⠀adopted by⠀the⠀organization.⠀The⠀Financial⠀Analyst⠀will⠀develop⠀strategic⠀plans for⠀savings⠀initiatives⠀seasonally.

Essential Functions:

Collaborate⠀with⠀internal⠀partners⠀to develop⠀Annual/Seasonal⠀plans
Leverage⠀analytics⠀to⠀identify⠀opportunities⠀for cost⠀savings
Provide⠀guidance⠀in season⠀to ensure⠀established⠀budgets⠀are⠀achieved
Liaise⠀with⠀Macy’s⠀Supply⠀Chain and⠀Travel⠀divisions⠀to develop⠀strategies⠀to⠀maximize⠀revenue⠀and⠀identify⠀expense⠀savings⠀initiatives
Analyze⠀company⠀spend⠀patterns⠀to⠀identify⠀risks and⠀opportunities⠀to drive⠀bottom⠀line⠀results.⠀Proactively⠀partner⠀with⠀internal⠀customers⠀to⠀discover⠀sourcing⠀opportunities,⠀uncover⠀new/diverse⠀suppliers

Qualifications and Competencies:

We⠀encourage⠀candidates⠀with⠀either a⠀bachelor’s⠀degree or⠀equivalent⠀work⠀experience⠀in a⠀related⠀field to⠀apply
1-2⠀years⠀related⠀experience
