The Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), a regional financial organization in Abu Dhabi, is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst for its Finance Department. The primary goal of the AMF is to support Arab economic integration and development. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning while ensuring compliance with professional standards and supporting the organization’s financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Modeling
- Gather and analyze financial data from various sources, including internal systems, market research, and industry reports.
- Build and maintain financial models to forecast future performance, assess investment opportunities, and evaluate potential risks.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted results, providing explanations for variances.
- Perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of different variables on financial outcomes.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze and summarize financial results and present key findings to support strategic decisions.
- Support the preparation of financial statements in line with regulatory and internal standards.
- Provide financial analysis to assist with pricing strategies, product profitability assessments, and market entry strategies.
Strategic Planning, Risk Management, and Decision Support
- Provide strategic financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis to support various business decisions.
- Support risk management initiatives by evaluating potential risks through financial models.
Business Process Management
- Ensure adherence to IFRS and International Accounting Standards.
- Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization opportunities.
- Participate in day-to-day financial operations following established policies and procedures.
- Recommend enhancements for internal processes and controls.
People Management
- Provide guidance to the team, set performance targets, and support professional development.
- Foster a high-performance work environment, promoting a performance-based culture.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet division objectives.
- Stay updated on local market developments and apply insights to improve stakeholder relations.
Additional Duties

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA are preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate finance principles.
- Proficiency in capital management and financial technology tools like MS Office and Power BI.
