As an Associate Course Director for the Creative Presentation course, you'll guide students in mastering the art of oral communication, visual storytelling, and presentation skills, both on-campus and online.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Create and deliver engaging lessons on oral communication and visual storytelling. Update curriculum to align with industry standards.
  • Learning Activities: Design and assess assignments, tests, quizzes, and labs to support student learning and outcomes.
  • Student Interaction: Provide constructive feedback, support diverse student populations, and foster an inclusive learning environment.
  • Lectures and Virtual Meetings: Conduct in-person lectures and virtual course meetings.
  • Industry Relevance: Maintain knowledge and skills through continuing education and industry engagement.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Full Sail University’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality of student and company information.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the university's mission and values.
  • Supervise lab specialists to maintain curriculum integrity.

Competencies:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including proofreading and editing.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional interaction with students and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Master’s degree in Communications, Organizational Communications, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of relevant and verifiable work experience. Prior teaching experience is a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with screen-capture web tools or recording software.
  • Public speaking and presentation design experience.
