Description Job Description


The GSOC Operator is a critical role that involves managing security operations for S&C team members and facilities. Operators will be responsible for overseeing security systems, generating reports, and communicating important information to internal stakeholders. As part of a 24/7 security operation, you will help monitor alarms, manage communications, and respond to critical events across the company's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • GSOC Console Operations: Monitor facility fire, building supervisory, high voltage supply, intrusion alarms, and video management systems (VMS).
  • Commercial Deliveries and Shipments: Stage and direct commercial deliveries and shipments; serve as the dispatcher for radio communications and telephone switchboard during off-hours.
  • Security System Administration: Maintain, use, and assist in training staff on security video, alarm systems, and SharePoint data entry systems.
  • COP Software Utilization: Operate the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Common Operating Picture (COP) software to analyze data and generate predefined reports. Use the COP to assess local threats and hazards and communicate vital information to S&C stakeholders.
  • Investigation Support: Assist in security investigations as needed and perform additional duties as required by the Global Security leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a security operations role is beneficial but not required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams), SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, and web-based communications tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills to manage security systems and respond to incidents efficiently.
