Responsibilities
Dismantles,⠀adjusts,⠀repairs,⠀and⠀assembles⠀equipment⠀according⠀to⠀schematics,⠀blueprints,⠀drawings,⠀and⠀operating⠀or repair⠀manuals.⠀Performs⠀preventive⠀and⠀routine⠀maintenance⠀and⠀repairs on⠀semiconductor⠀manufacturing⠀equipment⠀following⠀work⠀instructions⠀and⠀manufacturer⠀manuals.⠀Follow⠀processes⠀and⠀operational⠀policies⠀in⠀selecting⠀methods⠀and⠀techniques⠀for⠀obtaining⠀solutions⠀to all⠀production⠀equipment⠀in a⠀specific⠀area.⠀Perform⠀electrical/mechanical⠀troubleshooting⠀to⠀determine⠀problems⠀in⠀non-functioning⠀electro-mechanical⠀production⠀equipment⠀used in⠀the Fab.
- Performs⠀set-up,⠀calibration,⠀and⠀preventive⠀maintenance⠀on⠀manufacturing⠀equipment.
- Rebuild⠀and repair⠀manufacturing⠀equipment⠀as⠀required.
- Perform⠀equipment⠀modifications⠀as⠀directed⠀by⠀Equipment⠀Engineering.
- Work⠀on complex⠀assignments⠀requiring⠀judgment⠀in⠀resolving⠀issues or⠀making⠀recommendations⠀to the⠀Engineering⠀community.
- Participate⠀as a⠀contributing⠀member of⠀the⠀Emergency⠀Response⠀Team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Associate⠀Degree in⠀Electronics⠀Technology⠀(or⠀similar⠀discipline),⠀or a HS⠀diploma⠀with⠀equivalent⠀years of⠀experience.
- Minimum⠀of 3⠀years’⠀experience⠀(do you⠀need⠀relevant⠀equipment⠀maintenance⠀experience…or⠀just⠀having the⠀3 years in⠀a⠀production⠀is⠀sufficient?)⠀in a⠀production⠀and/or⠀faced pace⠀environment.
- Experience⠀with⠀common⠀hand tools⠀as well as⠀various⠀electronic⠀instruments.
- Job⠀duties may⠀require⠀heavy⠀lifting⠀(install/removal⠀of⠀pumps).
- Must⠀pass⠀respiratory⠀protection⠀medical⠀surveillance⠀examination
- Must⠀have in⠀depth⠀knowledge,⠀understanding,⠀and⠀support of⠀manufacturing⠀process.
- Must⠀be a⠀self-starter⠀and be⠀able to⠀work with⠀minimal⠀supervision.
- Must⠀be able to⠀work the⠀overnight⠀and⠀compressed⠀shift.
