As an Engineering Storekeeper at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai, you will play a key role in managing the inventory of engineering supplies, tools, and equipment to support the efficient operation of the hotel’s maintenance and repair activities. The role requires maintaining organized storerooms, ensuring that materials are readily available for engineering tasks, and implementing inventory control measures.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain accurate inventory of engineering supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure all necessary items are in stock for maintenance activities.
- Receiving & Inspection: Receive deliveries, inspect materials for quality and compliance with purchase orders, and ensure proper storage of items.
- Storeroom Organization: Optimize the layout of the engineering storeroom for efficient storage and easy retrieval of items.
- Issuance of Supplies: Issue engineering supplies and equipment based on approved requisitions, ensuring accurate record-keeping of transactions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receipts, issues, and returns of materials, ensuring all transactions are well-documented.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to understand material requirements for ongoing and future maintenance and repair work.
- Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with vendors to source high-quality engineering supplies and negotiate favorable terms for purchases.
