Embroidery Machine Operator in Chicago

We are seeking a Commercial Embroidery Machine Operator with experience operating single and multi-head commercial embroidery machines. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Tajima and Barudan embroidery machines (though experience with other machines may be considered) and will be able to produce quality work while working independently or collaboratively with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate and maintain multiple head Tajima and Barudan embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products.
• Task Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Quality Focus: Consistently produce high-quality embroidery work, utilizing resources to continually improve quality.
• Process Improvement: Follow and improve processes to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Client Interaction: Provide occasional client interaction, when necessary, to ensure their requirements and expectations are met.
• Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace to ensure smooth operations.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the current team, contributing to the efficiency of the overall production process.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in commercial embroidery machine operation.
• Machine Experience: Experience with multi-head embroidery machines is highly preferred.
• Tajima/Barudan: Experience with Tajima and Barudan embroidery machines is preferred but not required.
• Language: English proficiency preferred.
• Reliability: Ability to commute reliably to the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.
