ELECTRICAL ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Due⠀to our⠀continued⠀growth⠀into the⠀data⠀centre⠀sector, we⠀are⠀looking to⠀recruit an⠀Electrical⠀Associate⠀Director,⠀ideally⠀with data⠀centre⠀experience,⠀to lead a⠀multi-disciplinary⠀team on⠀technically-challenging⠀projects.

This⠀role will⠀be⠀responsible⠀for⠀managing⠀projects⠀to deliver⠀an⠀excellent⠀service to⠀clients⠀and⠀assisting⠀on the⠀ongoing⠀development⠀and growth⠀of the⠀business⠀as a⠀whole,⠀whilst⠀providing⠀sound⠀technical,⠀design,⠀and⠀contract⠀management⠀support.⠀This role⠀will⠀report to⠀the Abu⠀Dhabi-based⠀office⠀lead.

We’re⠀looking⠀for an⠀experienced⠀leader to⠀take⠀overall⠀accountability⠀for the⠀performance⠀of the⠀data⠀centre⠀function⠀as part of⠀the wider⠀management⠀team.

• Provides⠀sound⠀technical⠀input and⠀knowledge⠀to⠀projects⠀and to the⠀team.
• Technical⠀leadership⠀of⠀projects⠀and teams⠀requiring⠀in-depth⠀technical⠀involvement⠀in⠀projects.
• Contributes⠀to the⠀development⠀and growth⠀of the⠀company by⠀identifying⠀new⠀opportunities⠀and⠀potential⠀areas for⠀growth and⠀improvement,⠀and also⠀maintaining⠀and⠀developing⠀existing⠀client⠀relationships
• Manages⠀an⠀electrical⠀design⠀team to⠀ensure⠀successful⠀preparation⠀and⠀delivery⠀of project⠀objectives,⠀including⠀providing⠀technical⠀support
• Compiles⠀specifications,⠀drawings,⠀and⠀relevant⠀contract⠀documents,⠀maintaining⠀the⠀required⠀technical⠀quality of⠀work and⠀ensuring⠀that⠀designs⠀comply⠀with the⠀relevant⠀codes,⠀standards,⠀regulations,⠀and⠀procedures
• Acts⠀as the⠀lead⠀engineer⠀and⠀liaises⠀with the⠀client and⠀external⠀design⠀team as⠀necessary⠀for⠀successful⠀delivery⠀of⠀projects
• Identifies⠀scope and⠀scheduling⠀changes in⠀accordance⠀with the⠀change⠀control⠀process,⠀maintaining⠀planning⠀and cost⠀control on⠀all⠀scope
• Assists⠀with the⠀recruitment,⠀appraisal,⠀performance,⠀work,⠀development,⠀morale,⠀and⠀motivation⠀of the⠀team
• Provides⠀directional⠀and honest⠀feedback⠀to⠀staff
• Provides⠀mentoring⠀and⠀leadership⠀to team⠀under⠀him/her

• A relevant degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering, or equivalent qualification or sufficient suitable experience
• CEng (or equivalent) with an appropriate professional body
