As the Education & Training Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the training planning and execution within Coolock Manufacturing. You will coordinate and, where applicable, lead education and training activities to promote operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will include managing logistics for training, events, and meetings, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to ensure compliance and effectiveness of training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for training activities, ensuring smooth execution and strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Assist with budget, expenses, and purchasing processes related to training programs.
- Communication: Handle phone and email queries, responding appropriately to requests.
- Record Keeping: Ensure proper archiving and filing of documents in compliance with statutory and company policies.
- Reporting: Maintain systems and data, providing accurate and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage travel arrangements, events, meetings, and training logistics.
- Onboarding Program Management: Oversee and develop the onboarding program for new hires.
- Compliance Training: Ensure site compliance training is planned, executed, and recorded as per legal and internal audit standards.
- Training Effectiveness: Monitor training courses and provider effectiveness, providing feedback and suggesting improvements.
- Database Management: Maintain and manage the Nvolve database for training records and analytics.
- Reporting and KPI Tracking: Provide monthly reports on key performance indicators related to Education & Training delivery.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to training processes.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience: At least 2 to 4 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, ideally with a focus on training or learning and development.
- Customer Service: A strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team and anticipate the needs of others.
- Organizational Skills: Strong planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Lean Six Sigma: Knowledge/experience in Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S).
Preferred Experience:
- Training Qualifications: Experience with formal training qualifications or "Train the Trainer" certification.
- Learning & Development (L&D): High-level coordination experience within an L&D environment.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: Full-time, with flexibility required based on business needs.
- Shift Hours: 1st shift from 7 am - 3 pm.
- Occasional Weekend Work: Required as needed.
