We⠀are⠀looking⠀for an⠀Director⠀of⠀Executive⠀Communications⠀- Human⠀Resources⠀to lead⠀internal⠀communications⠀for Human⠀Resources⠀(HR) and⠀our senior⠀HR⠀executives.⠀While this⠀role will⠀primarily⠀focus on⠀the⠀internal⠀communications⠀strategy⠀and⠀execution⠀for HR⠀leaders⠀and the HR⠀organization,⠀it also⠀includes⠀close⠀partnership⠀on⠀external⠀communications⠀opportunities⠀for⠀holistic⠀storytelling.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Take a⠀leadership⠀role on⠀all⠀internal⠀communications,⠀messaging,⠀and events⠀(HR⠀all-hands,⠀employee⠀engagement⠀programs,⠀all-company⠀emails,⠀cross-company⠀events,⠀videos,⠀Viva⠀Engage,⠀etc.).
  • Manage⠀executive-level⠀internal⠀messaging⠀platform,⠀aligned to⠀Microsoft’s⠀People⠀Vision and⠀priorities⠀and HR⠀priorities.
  • Collaborate⠀closely⠀with HR⠀external⠀communications⠀lead to⠀ensure⠀alignment⠀of⠀internal⠀and⠀external⠀messaging.
  • Support⠀HR⠀external⠀communications⠀as needed,⠀including⠀social⠀media⠀activity,⠀media⠀interviews⠀and⠀speaking⠀engagements
  • Partner⠀closely⠀with⠀Corporate⠀Communications,⠀Office of⠀the CEO⠀Communications,⠀and Senior⠀Leadership⠀Team⠀communications⠀to execute⠀all-employee⠀internal⠀communications.
  • Deliver⠀executive-level⠀briefing⠀materials,⠀scripting/messaging⠀for⠀internal⠀keynotes⠀and⠀presentations.
  • Leverage⠀insights⠀and⠀feedback⠀to⠀continuously⠀adjust and⠀improve⠀internal⠀communications.
  • Execute⠀rhythm of⠀communication⠀activities⠀including⠀All Hands,⠀Ask Me⠀Anything⠀sessions,⠀Company⠀Strategy⠀Series,⠀etc.
  • Manage⠀budget for⠀vendor and⠀agency⠀resources.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's⠀Degree in⠀Business,⠀Business⠀Administration,⠀Marketing,⠀Communications,⠀Finance,⠀or related⠀field AND⠀6+ years⠀Communications,⠀Marketing⠀Operations,⠀Field⠀Operations,⠀Program⠀Management,⠀Project⠀Management,⠀or related⠀experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Public⠀relations/media⠀relations⠀experience,⠀including⠀managing⠀agency⠀support
  • Business⠀maturity,⠀confidentiality,⠀and⠀experience⠀working⠀with⠀senior⠀executives
  • Exceptional⠀writing⠀skills
  • Ability⠀to manage⠀multiple⠀channels/vehicles⠀to land⠀meaningful⠀communications⠀(email,⠀events,⠀video,⠀SharePoint,⠀Teams,⠀social,⠀PR,⠀etc.)
