Reporting⠀to the⠀Vice⠀President⠀for⠀Academic⠀Affairs,⠀the⠀Director⠀of⠀Academic⠀Affairs⠀–⠀Educational⠀Partnerships⠀(DAAEP)⠀provides⠀leadership⠀for and⠀oversight⠀of the⠀strategic⠀implementation,⠀management,⠀assessment,⠀and⠀quality⠀improvement⠀of the⠀College’s⠀partnership⠀programs⠀and⠀initiatives⠀including⠀early⠀outreach,⠀dual⠀enrollment,⠀and⠀transfer⠀programs.⠀Establishes⠀and⠀maintains⠀positive⠀educational⠀community⠀relationships⠀that⠀contribute⠀to the⠀College’s⠀ability to⠀fulfill⠀its⠀mission.
This⠀position⠀is⠀responsible⠀for⠀developing⠀strategies⠀and⠀partnerships⠀with⠀educational⠀and public⠀entities⠀to support⠀the⠀continuum⠀of⠀education⠀from K-12⠀through⠀the⠀Baccalaureate.⠀Works with⠀academic⠀affairs⠀and⠀student⠀development⠀services⠀areas to⠀provide⠀access to⠀enrollment,⠀registration,⠀learning⠀and⠀college⠀life⠀services⠀in support⠀of dual⠀enrollment⠀and⠀educational⠀outreach⠀programs.

  • Collaborates⠀with⠀campus and⠀district⠀leadership⠀to⠀develop,⠀implement,⠀evaluate,⠀and report⠀on⠀academically⠀sound⠀programs⠀that⠀encourage⠀a⠀continuum⠀of⠀education⠀through⠀strategic⠀partnerships⠀with K12⠀schools,⠀universities,⠀employers,⠀and⠀community⠀organizations
  • Encourages⠀and builds⠀mutual⠀trust,⠀respect,⠀and⠀cooperation⠀among⠀employees⠀and⠀partners
  • Works⠀with⠀campus⠀administrative⠀academic⠀leaders to⠀develop⠀dual⠀credit⠀faculty⠀assignments
  • Oversees⠀and⠀participates⠀in the⠀implementation⠀of a wide⠀range of⠀outreach⠀and⠀education⠀initiatives⠀that⠀encourage⠀college⠀success⠀and career⠀readiness⠀that⠀include⠀regular⠀dual⠀credit,⠀CTE dual⠀credit,⠀early⠀college⠀high⠀school and⠀P-Techs,⠀and home⠀school⠀students
  • Works⠀with⠀campus⠀registrar⠀to oversee⠀the DC⠀College⠀add/drop⠀and⠀self-registration⠀process⠀and⠀reconcile⠀course⠀rosters to⠀ensure⠀accurate⠀enrollments
  • Collaborates⠀with⠀campus and⠀college⠀leaders to⠀implement⠀college⠀rigor,⠀process,⠀and policy⠀changes in⠀coordination⠀with⠀external⠀partners
  • Collaborates⠀with⠀external⠀partners⠀to⠀recruit,⠀advise,⠀and⠀support⠀student⠀learning⠀outcomes⠀for early⠀outreach,⠀dual⠀enrollment,⠀and⠀transfer⠀programming
  • Assists⠀in the⠀evaluation⠀of program⠀development⠀for⠀compliance⠀with the⠀Texas⠀Higher⠀Education⠀Coordinating⠀Board /⠀Southern⠀Association⠀of⠀Colleges⠀and⠀Schools⠀Commission⠀on⠀Colleges⠀and⠀Schools⠀(SACSCOC)⠀outcomes⠀and⠀requirements⠀while⠀working⠀with⠀Institutional⠀Effectiveness,⠀Accreditation,⠀and⠀Planning
  • Coordinates⠀development⠀and⠀provision⠀of⠀specialized⠀course⠀delivery⠀for Career⠀and⠀Technical⠀Education⠀(CTE) Dual⠀Credit⠀Courses⠀with all⠀college⠀campuses⠀as it⠀relates to⠀the⠀college’s⠀P-TECH⠀offerings
  • Serves⠀on various⠀department,⠀campus,⠀ISD⠀(Independent⠀School⠀District),⠀and⠀district⠀committees
  • Collaborates⠀with TCC,⠀ISD⠀officials,⠀and high⠀school⠀administrators⠀to⠀determine⠀course⠀offerings⠀and⠀provide⠀leadership⠀and⠀direction⠀for TCC⠀coordinators⠀and⠀partners
  • Interfaces⠀with the⠀administrations⠀of ISD,⠀private⠀and⠀charter⠀schools,⠀as well as⠀home⠀school⠀programs⠀to⠀disseminate⠀information,⠀identify⠀problems,⠀monitor⠀progress,⠀and ensure⠀adherence⠀to goals⠀and⠀objectives
  • Coordinates⠀and⠀presents⠀orientation⠀sessions⠀for TCC,⠀ISDs,⠀Special⠀Events and⠀high⠀school⠀administrators⠀and staff,⠀as well as⠀for high⠀school⠀students,⠀community,⠀and⠀college⠀faculty
  • Collaborates⠀with TCC⠀Institutional⠀Research⠀office to⠀inform the⠀SACSCOC of⠀substantive⠀changes as⠀related to⠀the dual⠀credit⠀program
  • Monitors⠀and⠀reports⠀off‐site⠀dual⠀credit⠀course⠀offerings⠀to the⠀Metroplex⠀Higher⠀Education⠀Regional⠀Council⠀(MHERC)
  • Assesses⠀current⠀student⠀needs and⠀course⠀offerings⠀based upon⠀discussions⠀with Dual⠀Credit⠀faculty⠀and ISD⠀partners
  • Plans⠀special⠀events⠀involving⠀community,⠀college⠀educators,⠀and high⠀school⠀participants
  • Completes⠀annual⠀Institutional⠀Effectiveness⠀Plan⠀(IEPs)⠀based on⠀the campus⠀goals and⠀objectives,⠀to include⠀projecting⠀outcomes⠀and budget⠀needs
  • Systematically⠀and⠀continuously⠀monitors⠀data⠀collection⠀to ensure⠀that⠀program⠀activities⠀are⠀related to⠀institutional⠀effectiveness,⠀and⠀documents⠀the uses⠀of these⠀findings⠀for⠀corrective⠀actions,⠀improvement,⠀and⠀accountability
General Supervision and Management
  • Develops⠀professional⠀growth and⠀learning⠀opportunities⠀to enhance⠀internal⠀and⠀external⠀capacities⠀for⠀effective⠀communications,⠀training,⠀and⠀outreach⠀for both⠀staff and⠀faculty,⠀whether⠀embedded⠀high⠀school⠀faculty or⠀TCC hired⠀faculty in⠀conjunction⠀with the⠀Center for⠀Teaching &⠀Learning⠀as⠀needed
  • Provides⠀leadership⠀and⠀strategic⠀direction⠀for TCC⠀partnerships⠀with a⠀focus on⠀college⠀and career⠀readiness
  • Assumes⠀responsibility⠀for the⠀selection,⠀training,⠀supervision,⠀evaluation,⠀performance⠀management,⠀and⠀discipline⠀of select⠀staff⠀working on⠀training,⠀outreach,⠀and⠀strategic⠀activities
  • Oversees⠀lists of⠀budgetary⠀and other⠀needs⠀while⠀administering⠀the⠀operational⠀and travel⠀budget⠀including⠀Dual⠀Credit and⠀Early⠀College⠀High⠀School⠀campus⠀programs

  • Participates⠀on behalf⠀of the⠀College in⠀external⠀community⠀organizations⠀and⠀associations.
  • Completes⠀all⠀required⠀training⠀and⠀professional⠀development⠀sessions⠀sponsored⠀through⠀Tarrant⠀County⠀College⠀(TCC).
  • Supports⠀the⠀mission,⠀values,⠀goals, and⠀principles⠀of the⠀College
  • Attends⠀the⠀workplace⠀regularly⠀and⠀follows a⠀work⠀schedule⠀to keep up⠀with the⠀demands of⠀the⠀worksite.

Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s⠀degree
  • Two⠀(2) years⠀of⠀experience⠀in⠀education⠀or related⠀field
  • One⠀(1)⠀year’s⠀experience⠀supervising⠀(e.g.,⠀managing⠀and⠀evaluating⠀the⠀performance⠀of others)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching⠀or⠀training⠀experience⠀with K-12⠀schools
  • Experience⠀in a fully⠀online⠀modality
  • Experience⠀in high⠀school/⠀dual⠀credit⠀teaching⠀or⠀administration
