The Digital Strategist plays a key role in the development and execution of strategic digital media plans. You will work closely with internal clients and external partners to ensure flawless campaign execution, leveraging your expertise in digital media platforms and data analysis to deliver outstanding results. You will also help educate and inform stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement in the media buying process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Support the launch and maintenance of digital campaigns for Quad media clients, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Strategy Development: Assist in developing media strategies and recommendations, helping to create compelling client presentations.
  • Digital Channel Coordination: Communicate the roles of different digital channels in the overall media strategy.
  • Media Operations & Quality Assurance: Lead the campaign build process, ensuring flawless execution and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Vendor Communication: Manage and confirm media orders with vendors, ensuring the alignment of media buys with the campaign objectives.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Monitor campaign performance and deliver regular reporting, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with leadership and peers to improve operational efficiency, tools, systems, and workflows.
  • Vendor Relationships: Represent Rise to vendor representatives, analyzing the value and relevance of media vehicles and tactics for inclusion in the media plan.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in digital media planning, buying, or execution.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of digital media platforms such as Google Marketing Platform, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and Facebook Business Manager.
  • Media Buying Knowledge: Familiarity with programmatic advertising, paid social, and paid search.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to pull and interpret data, providing actionable insights to optimize campaign performance.
  • Strategic Implementation: Ability to convert strategic plans into tactical execution while ensuring seamless integration with the overall campaign goals.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics, The Trade Desk Edge, Facebook Blueprint, Microsoft Ads, or IAB Digital Media Planning & Buying.

  • Analytical Thinking: Expertise in determining the optimal ways to set up, deliver, troubleshoot, and QA digital campaigns.

  • Adaptability: Ability to stay updated on emerging trends in the digital marketing ecosystem.
