The Digital Information Coordinator will be a key player in driving engineering digital transformation initiatives for the EMEA business unit. This position ensures that the business stays ahead of technological advancements, working with various stakeholders such as technology partners, digital delivery practices, IT, engineers, and project managers. The role focuses on managing digital initiatives, supporting implementation, and ensuring adherence to digital standards like ISO 19650.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage digital transformation initiatives from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets while tracking progress and managing deliverables.
  • Engage with digital delivery communities (BIM, GIS, information management, automation) to implement digital standards, processes, and tools.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and communication channels (e.g., collaboration platforms, newsletters) to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency through digital technologies.
  • Support the development and implementation of best practices for digital project delivery and operational improvements.
  • Provide training and develop user guides for new digital tools and processes, ensuring smooth adoption across teams.
  • Manage the collaboration platform, ensuring secure and accurate handling of digital information and data.
  • Continuously update the digital playbook, including standards, methods, procedures, and templates, for successful digital project implementation.
  • Monitor the performance of digital initiatives using KPIs and metrics to assess success and impact.
  • Provide updates and reports to senior management, including presentations on the progress and effectiveness of digital initiatives.
  • Ensure all initiatives comply with ISO 19650 and industry best practices.
  • Maintain documentation of all digital projects, including project plans, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for digital projects.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the business remains competitive in the digital engineering space.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, with strong knowledge of engineering documentation and information management standards (ISO 19650).
  • Proficiency in common data environments and collaboration platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, Civil 3D, Dynamo, Revizto, Synchro, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management experience, including project planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in digital engineering tools and technologies.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is a plus.
  • Experience in the Middle East/Gulf region is preferred but not required.
