Cumulus Media | Chicago is seeking an organized, proactive Digital Account Manager with a strong ability to adapt to the fast-paced digital environment. The ideal candidate will manage and execute digital marketing campaigns across websites, social media, email, digital audio, and mobile platforms. You will work closely with internal and external teams, helping deliver strategic marketing solutions for clients while supporting Account Executives in understanding campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Campaign Management

  • Work with internal and external teams, including Digital Sales Manager, Account Executives, and digital clients, to manage all post-sale tasks.
  • Coordinate internal/external kickoff calls, campaign setup, and management with digital operations teams.
  • Manage client relationships, maintaining internal timelines and workflows, and communicating campaign performance and optimizations.

Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Analyze client budgets, partner invoices, and deliverables with attention to detail.
  • Handle campaign setup, trafficking, performance monitoring, reporting, and analytics.
  • Facilitate campaign optimization with internal digital vendors.
  • Use historical data and insights to identify opportunities for campaign upsells and new revenue growth.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the achievement of client goals.
  • Proactively inform clients about campaign progress, optimizations, and updates.
  • Track performance, optimize campaigns, and support billing/budgeting efforts.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of digital account management or related experience.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and platforms (e.g., social media, email, programmatic, digital audio).
    • Attention to detail with a focus on campaign execution and optimization.
    • Proactive communicator with the ability to manage multiple clients and expectations.
    • Familiarity with digital advertising tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
    • Knowledge of design and creative oversight in digital campaigns.
