RL Canning is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our Managed Services team. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to desktop systems, applications, and peripherals, with a focus on upgrading systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting and support processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support hardware technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and specialty applications.
- Perform installations and upgrades for end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Provide hands-on support for hardware repairs and software configurations.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams for advanced support needs.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in desktop and peripheral support.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11 environments.
- Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems (preferred).
- Willingness to travel for project needs.
