This job description is for an Entry-Level Architectural Designer or Junior Architect position. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Documentation: Modify or create implementation documents using standard architectural techniques and collaborative procedures under direction.
- Routine Architectural Tasks: Perform basic design assignments and contribute to projects with varying levels of responsibility.
- Learning and Development: Engage in tasks that may include higher-level work for training and skill development.
- Site Visits and Meetings: Attend on-site visits, field reviews, client meetings, and other project-related events as needed.
- Support for Proposals and Presentations: Assist in preparing project proposals, presentations, schedules, and handling documentation and samples.
- Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Participate in communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to integrate project requirements.
- Team Meetings: Attend and contribute to team discussions regarding project and design issues, technical topics, and coordination.
Qualifications:
- Education: Accredited professional degree in Architecture or a related field is required.
- Experience: 0-3 years of professional experience is preferred.
- Licensing and Certifications:
- On the path to achieving Architectural Registration.
- Sustainable design accreditation is a plus.
- Skills:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Basic skills in Revit, Navisworks, Rhino, and Grasshopper are required (intermediate skills preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite is beneficial.
- Knowledge:
