This role involves assisting with basic design and technical tasks, under general supervision, and provides opportunities for growth and learning. Below are the key aspects of the position:
Responsibilities:
- Document Preparation: Modify or create implementation documents using standard architectural techniques and collaborative design procedures.
- Routine Assignments: Work on various architectural assignments and contribute to design responsibilities while collaborating with team members.
- Training and Development: Participate in assignments that may include higher-level work for skill development.
- Site Visits and Meetings: Attend field reviews, on-site visits, and client or project meetings when needed.
- Proposal and Presentation Assistance: Help prepare proposals, presentations, schedules, and other project-related documentation.
- Coordination: Assist in liaising with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to integrate information into project requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Join team meetings to discuss project issues and coordinate with different disciplines.
- Financial Understanding: Develop an understanding of the firm’s accounting principles, budgets, and fees.
- Client Relations: Foster awareness of client relationship building and basic business development.
- Marketing Support: May assist with creating marketing presentations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Accredited degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Experience: 0-3 years of professional experience.
- Professional Development: On the path to obtaining architectural registration.
- Preferred Accreditations: Sustainable design certification.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D modeling.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge:
