Customer Experience Analyst

Edmund Optics is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Customer Experience team, focused on enhancing customer engagement through data-driven insights. This role involves collaborating with the Advanced Manufacturing Sales team and the Global Analytics team to provide essential reporting and analytics support. The position centers on the development of Power BI reports and maintaining data models that facilitate improved strategic decision-making for the global sales organization. Key areas of impact include conversion rates, customer satisfaction, retention, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reports in Power BI using data from ERP and CRM systems, providing insights on key performance metrics.
• Build and refine data transformation pipelines and data models, ensuring accuracy in sales and customer data reporting.
• Design CRM reports to aid in proactive engagement and track the opportunity pipeline.
• Collaborate with other analysts to gather requirements, ideate new reports, and perform ad-hoc analyses to address urgent queries.
• Conduct basic Power BI training sessions for team members to foster platform utilization across the organization.
• Stay informed on advancements in Power BI, analytics, and data visualization techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience creating Power BI reports.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling (e.g., dimension and fact tables, star schema).
• Experience with Power BI development tools like DAX Studio and Tabular Editor, as well as Microsoft SharePoint.
• Ability to present findings to stakeholders with clear, impactful visualizations.
• Skilled in multitasking and independent project management.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $59,000 - $69,000, based on experience and qualifications.
