The Customer Accounts Receivable Specialist role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) involves managing customer accounts, overseeing the lifecycle and collection process, and ensuring a seamless experience in resolving invoicing and payment inquiries. This position is central to maintaining HPE’s accounts receivable (AR) metrics and achieving customer satisfaction in financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Lifecycle Management: Act as the primary point of contact for accounts receivable inquiries, providing solutions and fostering positive customer experiences.
  • Collection Strategy: Develop and implement monthly collection strategies, focusing on minimizing overdue balances and meeting AR targets.
  • Cash Allocation: Ensure timely application of payments and proper suspense management.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of all collection activities and maintain AR reports for review.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and escalate any account issues to enhance customer service and AR outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Education: First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in accounts receivable, collections, or a related role, ideally in financial or customer service.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with customer experience management.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and an understanding of customer relations.

Additional Skills and Competencies

  • Familiarity with CRM, data management, business planning, and empathy-driven customer experience strategies.
  • Cross-functional teamwork and the ability to handle ambiguity.
