As a⠀Criminal⠀Records⠀Specialist⠀(CRS), you⠀will⠀maintain⠀and⠀support⠀criminal⠀history⠀record⠀information⠀provided⠀by law⠀enforcement⠀agencies⠀and courts⠀throughout⠀the state⠀under⠀minimal⠀supervision.⠀You will⠀ensure⠀accurate⠀entry,⠀update⠀information,⠀and⠀disseminate⠀criminal⠀history⠀record⠀information⠀(CHRI)⠀upon⠀request to⠀law⠀enforcement,⠀criminal⠀justice⠀agencies,⠀public and⠀private⠀sector⠀employers,⠀and the⠀general⠀public.
About⠀the⠀Division:
The⠀Criminal⠀Records⠀Division⠀(CRD) is⠀comprised⠀of four⠀sections:⠀Collision⠀Records,⠀ACCESS,⠀Identification⠀and⠀Background⠀Check⠀Section,⠀and⠀Criminal⠀History⠀Records⠀Section.⠀It⠀provides⠀services⠀for both⠀criminal⠀justice⠀and⠀non-criminal⠀justice⠀purposes⠀and is⠀also⠀responsible⠀for⠀maintaining⠀the⠀statewide⠀repository⠀for⠀fingerprint-based⠀criminal⠀history⠀record⠀information.
