We are seeking a dedicated Credit Admin Specialist to join our credit department in the Tampa, FL area. This role involves performing crucial support functions, assisting Credit Analysts, and managing special projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple priorities, and a familiarity with financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Underwriting Due Diligence: Perform due diligence on incoming loan requests, including consumer credit checks, flood certifications, OFAC, UCC Search, Corporate Search, EDR, and Property Assessor.
  • Document Management: Review and organize documents in electronic credit files, ensuring completeness and proper labeling. Scan financial records into Fiserv and update credit monitoring systems.
  • Order Appraisals and Reports: Bid and order appraisals and environmental reports, and maintain the Work in Progress (WIP) report.
  • Meeting Coordination: Take minutes at DLC and ELC loan meetings, prepare agendas and loan packages, and coordinate teleconferences and notifications.
  • Data Compilation and Research: Compile data for loan reports, perform financial statement spreads, and handle research requests from Business Bankers.
  • Annual Review Process: Assist in the annual review process under the guidance of the Credit Department Manager.
  • Compliance: Complete required compliance training and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with financial data, including tax returns and financial statements.
    • Ability to learn and adhere to credit union policies and banking regulations, including BSA/AML.
    • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive, cooperative, and professional demeanor.
