Court Support Service Assistant

The Court Administrative Assistant position at the City of SeaTac involves providing clerical and office support to the Court and Court Support Services. The role requires a strong focus on routine, well-defined tasks, including working with court systems and the public. Key responsibilities include document processing, client assistance, data entry, and monitoring compliance with court-ordered treatment obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a personal computer using Microsoft Office.
• Support Court Support Services and the Court with document processing and client assistance.
• Perform basic clerical tasks like answering phones, filing, and data entry into the Judicial Information System (JIS) and Tyler file management system.
• Assist with intake paperwork and enter new case referrals in Tyler.
• Monitor compliance of treatment obligations, enter reports, and notify individuals of non-compliance.

Education and Experience:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED, plus one year of clerical experience.
• Preferred: Experience in court or misdemeanor probation.
• Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered.

Licenses:

• Valid Washington State driver’s license required.
• Submission of a three-year driving record abstract prior to hire.
