This Corporate Accounting Analyst role at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York offers a unique vantage point on national and global markets while fostering financial stability. Working within the Corporate Accounting & Reporting team, you’ll engage in high-level financial reporting, compliance with SOX controls, and complex reconciliations across monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. This position emphasizes collaboration, with in-office expectations of a few days per week, along with flexibility for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and analyze financial data at the Bank level, ensuring ledger accuracy and compliance with SOX key controls.
  • Prepare and reconcile financial reports regularly, maintaining audit trails and troubleshooting issues.
  • Participate in external and internal audit activities and support projects within the accounting function.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of accounting and financial principles, including internal controls.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in financial analysis and reporting controls.

Compensation:

The role offers a competitive salary between $68,000 - $80,000 annually, with pay commensurate with experience and skill level.
