Summary
Under⠀general⠀supervision⠀and⠀according⠀to⠀established⠀policies⠀and⠀procedures,⠀monitor⠀the⠀operation⠀of the⠀production⠀processing⠀line and⠀equipment⠀function⠀through⠀CRT⠀interaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote⠀and follow⠀all plant⠀safety⠀guidelines
- Read⠀job⠀specifications⠀to⠀determine⠀machine⠀adjustments⠀and⠀material⠀requirements
- Set⠀stops or⠀guides to⠀specific⠀lengths as⠀indicated⠀by scale,⠀rule, or⠀templates
- Adjust⠀processing⠀parameters⠀as needed⠀to achieve⠀desired⠀results as⠀communicated⠀by⠀Supervisor
- Observe⠀machine⠀operation⠀to detect⠀product⠀defects or⠀machine⠀malfunction
- Review⠀product⠀for⠀inconsistencies⠀or⠀abnormal⠀appearance⠀assuring⠀product⠀meets⠀quality⠀requirements
- Perform⠀routine⠀machine⠀maintenance
- Effective⠀communication⠀of process⠀concerns⠀to Shift⠀Supervisor⠀and Team⠀Members as⠀needed
- Assist⠀other⠀operators⠀to set up⠀machines⠀and any⠀other⠀necessary⠀tasks to⠀adhere to⠀deadlines⠀and⠀completion⠀of⠀product
- Inspect⠀and⠀monitor⠀positions⠀of gates,⠀valves,⠀and chutes⠀for proper⠀operations⠀and⠀perform⠀adjustments⠀as⠀needed
- Transfer⠀raw⠀materials⠀as needed⠀with⠀mobile⠀equipment
- Make⠀sure all⠀housekeeping⠀is⠀maintained⠀in a clear⠀and⠀orderly⠀fashion in⠀assigned⠀area
- Will⠀act as a⠀backup⠀supervisor⠀when⠀shift/production⠀supervisors⠀are⠀occupied⠀or⠀otherwise⠀unavailable
- Other⠀duties and⠀responsibilities⠀related to⠀the nature⠀of the job⠀may be⠀assigned⠀on a⠀temporary⠀or⠀permanent⠀basis as⠀needed

Requirements / Education / Experience
